In this qualification, candidates will develop skills in a range of areas such as solving business problems, storing and retrieving information, evaluating customer service, developing relationships with colleagues and various specialist administrative functions. The mandatory units cover undertaking work in a business environment, communicating, planning and improving own performance in a business environment. There are a wide range of optional units that can be selected to tailor the qualification to meet the needs of both the employer and employee.

This qualification is for candidates working within an office environment who have a broad range of activities with significant complexity, responsibility and autonomy, suitable for candidates up to and including supervisors and team-leaders. In this qualification candidates will develop skills in a range of areas such as preparing text, document production, managing events, customer service, IT, managing business resources, managing information and data and various specialist administrative functions. The mandatory units cover managing workload, communicating, planning and improving own performance in a business environment. There are a wide range of optional units that can be selected to tailor the qualification to meet the needs of both the employer and employee.
